JOB INTERVIEW PREPARATION
Have you been invited to a job interview? Congratulations!
Would you like to discuss your answers with someone who’s been to numerous interviews both as an interviewer and an interviewee?
When English is not your first language, it might be even more stressful to get ready for a job interview. Not only will you need to come up with some good answers, but also think about using the right phrases and vocabulary.
When you are getting ready for an interview in English, please remember that communication is the most important thing. As long as you can communicate your thoughts and your interviewer understands what you say, you’re fine. They are not there to judge your language skills, but to find more about you and your experience.
Are you worried that you might not be able to understand some words or questions?
It is okay to ask someone to repeat what they’ve said and there is nothing embarrassing in that. Read my interview guide to see how to ask someone politely to say something again.
