What Will You Learn?

Module 1 March: Legal professions
In this module you will learn about the legal professions and practice – international lawyers, solicitors, barristers and more!
Module 2 April : Civil procedure
You will master all the key terms and expressions from the Civil procedure. Think about the courts and tribunals, parties to the proceedings, and trial vocabulary.
Module 3 May: Client care
You will learn about client meetings, correspondence, liaising with civil courts and other parties.
Think of words such as: fee, disbursements, billable hours, retainer and consultation – do you know their exact meaning?
Module 4 June: Employment Law
Learn the most important words in Employment law. We will talk about contracts, dismissals, grievance, redundancy and more!
Module 5 July: Business Law
Understand the most useful words and learn idioms related to business meetings and contract negotiations.
Module 6 August: Case studies
We will cover some real cases from the English courts and analyse the vocabulary!
