Introduction to Legal English
This online course will take place in 5 sessions on Mondays at 5 pm London time.
The next course starts on 26 July 2021.
The course will focus on the basic legal vocabulary and practical legal skills for international lawyers.
This course is aimed at international lawyers and law students who work with English speaking clients.
The course will cover:
I. Legal professions and forms of legal practice.
II. Courts and tribunals.
III. First meeting with the client and initial interview.
IV. Correspondence with the client.
V. Liaising with the client, courts and the other side.

How long is the course?
This is a five-lesson course with five sessions each 1h 30min long. (Total number of 7.5 hours).
All lessons will take place on Mondays at 5 pm London time.

Where?
All lessons will take place on Zoom on Mondays at 5 pm London time. The link will be sent to you before the start of the course.
What is the cost?
The total cost of the course is £150 per person. The price includes all course materials.
Who can sign up for the course?
This course is for practising lawyers and law students who want to gain practical skills and work with international clients. This is a general Legal English course. For more specific courses, please look at Legal English for family lawyers and other courses. The groups are limited to ten students.
